This furnished apartment is located on Rue Caulaincourt between Square Caulaincourt and Rue Durantin in Montmartre, the center of Paris's great art movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. Renowned artists like Berlioz and Picasso lived and worked in this district, and their unconventional lifestyle is kept alive by a number of Montmartre residents today. There is a panoramic view of Paris from the Sacred Heart Basilica promenade, and the charming Place du Tertre is a must-see. There are all sorts of shops and services close to this accommodation, and the fruit and vegetable market on Rue Lepic is not to be missed.
Premises:
This 45m² (approx. 485 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the third and top floor of a 19th-century walk-up building. Situated in a private courtyard, the entrance gate opens into a hallway leading to a door with an intercom. A digital key provides access to the staircase landing.
The entrance door opens into a corridor from which the living room, the separate kitchen, and the separate bathroom can be accessed. The bedroom is accessible via the living room.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glazed window with northwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with two double-size sofa beds, a glazed coffee table, a modern glazed dining table with chairs, a flatscreen television, a DVD-player, and a stereo.
The 13 m² (approx. 140 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with northwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed with a bedside table, a desk and a chair, and a large built-in closet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four induction plates topped with a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a combination grill/microwave, a coffee-maker, a kettle, and a toaster. There is also a dishwasher and a combination washing machine/dryer.
The separate bathroom has a bathtub topped with a showerhead, a washbasin, and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both gas-fueled.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Lamark-Caulaincourt (line 12).
