We returned from our trip to Europe several days ago. Our flat in Paris was very nice. The apartment was as it was described and the property manager was prompt and courteous.
The flat was very well-equipped and clean.
The location was wonderful, however the location was under-represented in the description and in my conversation with the rep. Down the street from some of the most dramatic views of Notre Dame and Hotel de Ville, bookstalls, and picnics on the quays of the Seine. It is really in the
heart of a highly touristed area and is quite crowded with pedestrians and tours - a plus for some and perhaps a minus for others. We enjoyed being in the heart of Isle St. Louis, however the evenings were noisy on weekends and the mornings were noisy due to daily garbage pick-up quite early in the morning before the markets/shops opened. One suggestion is to put a fan in the vacation rental since the windows cannot be left open at night due to noise as the apartment is on the first floor and overlooks the busy street directly below.
We found the apartment to be extremely comfortable and were happy there. For folks who start their days early (6:30 or so) it would be perfect. For those who want to sleep in or who have small children it might not be a great recommendation because of the evening and loud early morning noise.
The best part of this apartment was its location and how well-equipped and clean it was.
