A one bedroom loft style apartment in the Marais area

Neighborhood: This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue Vieille Du Temple between Rue Du Poitou and Rue De Bretagne. The historic Bastille Place and the Republic Place are within an equal short distance of this little street, and both offer a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and entertainments venues like the new Opera house, which was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution, and is considered to be one of the best in the world. This accommodation is also close to the royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square in Paris that once housed many historic personalities. It was built by Henri IV, and its perfect symmetry and vertical height are fine examples of classical French architecture. This area is also famous for its museums, arts galleries, and antique shops. Premises: This 42m² (approx 450 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth and top floor of a 19th century walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor, which leads to the staircase. The entrance opens into a hall with a closet and a staircase. This staircase leads to the first floor with the living room and the open kitchen, the bathroom and an office area. The 25m² (approx 270 sq ft) living room has a double glazed French window, which opens onto a balcony. This balcony has a north-eastern exposure overlooking the street. The living room is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a modern style coffee table, an armchair, some bookshelves, a wall mounted flat screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo. The office area is furnished with a desk and a chair, a computer and some bookshelves. The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a dining table with four chairs. The 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a skylight and is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, a closet, a built in closet and some decorative items. The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet and a heated towel rack. Heat and hot water are both electric. There is an air conditioning system. For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station are Filles du Calvaire (line 8) and République (line 3,7,8,9,11).
