This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue d'Assas between Rue Vavin and Rue Joseph Bara.
Bordering the splendid Luxembourg Garden, this apartment is situated in a part of the "Quartier Latin", one of the most youthful areas of Paris. It is also a few steps from the Pantheon, among the most important Parisian points of interest being nowadays a secular temple sheltering the remains of the great men of France (Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Emile Zola, Marie and Pierre Curie...). In a fair walking distance is the Sorbonne University, as well as the Seine River and its traditional second hand booksellers, and delectable islands. All around there are number of restaurants and cafes, diverse sorts of shops, and other quality conveniences such as Maubert Mutualité and Mouffetard open-air markets, supermarkets, and fine bakeries.
Premises:
This 60m² (approx 645 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of an 18th century walk up building.The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens directly onto the staircase.
The entrance door opens into a hall with closets. It links the separate kitchen, the living room and the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible by the bedroom.
The 25m² (approx 270 sq ft) living room has three double glazed windows. One has a southwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard, two have a northeastern exposure overlooking the street.
The living room is furnished with a double size sofabed, a glazed dining table with chairs, a closet, a desk and a chair, a laptop, some modern style consoles and a stereo.
The 15m² (approx 160 sq ft) bedroom has a window with southwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard and is furnished with a double size bed, two bedside tables, a large built in closet, a chest of drawers, a wall mounted flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The private bathroom has a window, a bathtub topped by a showerhead, two washbasins and a heated towel rack.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with two induction plates, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
A microwave and a combo washing machine/dryer are located in a closet in the hall.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Vavin (line 4) and Notre Dame des Champs (line 12).
