Neighborhood: This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Boulevard de Belleville between Impasse Questre and Rue Oberkampf. Designed by the Baron Haussmann in 1854, the Place de la Republique has at its center the 10m high Republic statue. This accommodation is very close to the famous Place de la Bastille, where the new opera is considered one of the best in the world and was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. This neighborhood has many choices of restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops. The Republique area is very convenient for students and people who appreciate arts and crafts. It is also very central with quick access to most interesting points in Paris. Premises: This 44m2 (approx sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the fifth floor of an 1880 walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall, then, a gate protected by an intercom opens into the staircase. The entrance door opens into the living room. A small corridor leads to the kitchen and the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible by the bedroom. The 20m2 (approx 220 sq ft) living room has two double glazed windows with northeastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a trundle bed, two modern style armchairs, a coffee table, a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a computer, a dining table with chairs, some shelves and a decorative fireplace. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four vitroceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. The 12m2 (approx sq ft) bedroom has a window with southwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed and a bedside table, some shelves and a built in closet. The bathroom has a window, a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet. Heat and hot water are both electric. For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Parmentier (line 3) and Couronnes (line 2).
