A one-bedroom apartment in the Marais.

Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located in a very popular area of Paris, the Marais. This neighborhood has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture and provides all kinds of conveniences in addition to trendy fashion shops. In the vicinity is the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg and a little further, but also in a short walking distance, the wide Les Halles Mall.This accommodation is also near the well-known pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers and fishmongers. There are also a lot of gorgeous restaurants and cafes in the Marais. Most of the important points of interest such as the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine with its enchanting islands are in fair walking distance. Premises: This 45m² (approx. 485 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall. A second door protected by an intercom leads to the staircase. The apartment entrance opens into a small corridor leading to the kitchen (straight ahead) and to the living room (on the left). The bathroom and the bedroom are both accessible from the living room. The 26m² (approx.280 sq. ft.) living room has three double-glazed windows with shutters overlooking the street with a northern exposure. It has a parquet floor and it is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table and shelves with a stereo. This room is equipped with a small flat screen TV and a DVD player. It also has a bedroom area with a double size bed and a built-in closet. The kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave combo grill, a small refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also a bar with a stool. The 11m² (approx.120 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with shutters that overlooks the street. It is furnished with a single-size bed, a table and bookshelves with small built-in closet. The tiled bathroom is accessible through the living room and contains a bathtub, a washbasin and a washing machine combo dryer. Heat and hot water are both electric and individual. Internet access is available. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Rambuteau » (line 11).
