Neighborhood:
Situated in a mostly residential, traditional Parisian district, this apartment is close to the Montparnasse area, which has a number of charming squares and all sorts of boutiques, as well as restaurants, pleasant cafes, open-air markets, supermarkets, and convenience shops. This area borders the famous Sixth Arrondissement, where you can find fashion shops and diverse restaurants and cafes (la Coupole, le Select, la Rotonde, La Closerie des Lilas). A walking distance from the famous store "Le Bon Marché". It is also close to the Invalides with the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars, which stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.
Premises:
This 32m² (approx. 345 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the sixth floor (seventh in the USA) of a 1960 building.
The main entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall.In the hall, there is a second door with an intercom, which leads to the staircase with the elevator and concierge.
The apartment has a sisal wall-to-wall carpet floor.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) main room has a French window, which accesses a balcony and another window viewing a courtyard. Both have shutters. The main room is furnished with a king-size sofa bed,a dining table with chairs, a piano and a cupboard. It also has a stereo.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four gas plates toppped by an exhaust fan, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher,a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. It also has a window.
The bathroom is accessible through the living room and contains a shower, a washbasin and a washing machine. There is a separate toilet. It has a window.
In the entrance hall, there are a small dining table, chairs and some shelves.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
Internet access is available.
The nearest metro station are « Pasteur » (lines 6 and 12), Montparnasse (lines 4 et 13) and Duroc (lines 10).
