Neighborhood: This furnished three-bedroom apartment is located on Rue de l'Université between Avenue Rapp and Avenue de la Bourbonnais. Everything in the area of Invalides is on a monumental scale, starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars stretching down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveaux style, as well as numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower, originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition of 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris. There are all sorts of shops near this accommodation, including the colorful and exclusive street market on Rue Cler. There is an eat-in-kitchen area with stools. The first 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a window with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a closet, a chest of drawers and a console surmounted by a TV. The second 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a window with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a single size bunk bed, a closet, a chest of drawers, a desk and a chair. The third 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a window with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a baby bed, a chest of drawers and toys. The bathroom has a window, a bathtub, a shower topped by a showerhead and a washbasin. There is also a washing machine. There is also a separate toilet with washbasin. Heat and hot water are both electric. For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Pont de l'Alma (RER C) and Iéna (line 9).
