Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is situated on Rue du Pont Neuf between the Seine river and « le Forum des Halles », in the heart of Paris'Chatelet neighborhood. Among the numerous points of interest in this area is the celebrated Louvre, one of the first European museums; a medieval fortress and palace and residence of many kings of France; in 1793 the French Republic established it as a museum. In fair distance are the Opera Garnier, Place Vendôme and its world famous jewelers and the Champs Elysées. All around this accommodation are jazz clubs, select restaurants, nice cafes, cinemas, supermarkets and other convenience shops. Premises: This 89m² (approx. 960 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 19th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate is protected by a digicode and opens into a hall. Then a second gate is also protected by a coded system and leads to the staircase with the elevator. In the apartment's entrance there is a corridor with the living room and the first bedroom on the left hand side and on the right hand side the separate kitchen, the second bedroom and the bathroom. The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room has four double-glazed windows with a view on the street. It is furnished with a double-size futon bed, a coffee table, bookshelves and a built-in closet. The separate kitchen has a double-glazed window and it is equipped with 5 gas plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a washing machine combo dryer. There is also a high bar table. The bathroom has a window and is fitted with a bathtub and a washbasin. It connects with a dressing. There is also a separate toilet. Internet access is available. Heat and hot water use gas and are individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Chatelet (lines 1,4,7,14, RER A, B, D).
