Neighborhood: This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue d'Avron between Rue de Buzenval and Rue de la Réunion. The Nation neighborhood in the Eastend of Paris, close to the Place de la Bastille is known to be attractive to artists of all backgrounds. It is also near the most visited necropolis in the world: the Père Lachaise Cemetery and it is very close to the Montreuil flea market. In this particular multi-cultural and mostly residential area you will find a lot of affordable restaurants, cafes with outdoor terraces and convenience stores. At a walking distance are supermarkets, a post office, banks and book stores. Premises: This 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a walk up building from 1950. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate on the left opens into a corridor with staircase. The entrance door opens into the living room with open kitchen. The 13m2 (approx 139 sq ft) living room has a window with northern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with two singles size sofa bed, a coffee table, a desk and a chair, a phone, a stereo, a TV with international channels, a DVD player, a chest of drawers which serves as a dining table, some shelves and a closet. The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo oven/microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a combo washing machine/dryer. The 4m2 (approx 43 sq ft) alcove bedroom has a window with northern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a single bed, a bedside table and a closet. The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a heated towel rack and a toilet. Heat and hot water are both electric. For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Buzenval (line 9).
