Studio apartment close to the Quatier Latin
Neighborhood:

This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue Scipion between Boulevard Saint-Marcel and Rue du Fer à Moulin.

The Latin Quarter is covered with cobbled streets dating back to the 13th century. It contains some of the most famous universities and high schools in Paris such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne, Lycée Louis le Grand, as well as Lycée Henri IV. Several parks dot the neighborhood such as the Jardin des Plantes with the National Museum of Natural History, and the large, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with its magnificent alleys and pool. Nearby is the Pantheon, built as an abbey church in 1750; it was later converted into a secular mausoleum for the great men of France. There are all sorts of small food shops and supermarkets in the neighborhood. The pedestrian rue Mouffetard, with its open-air food market, is only a few steps away.

Premises:

This 28m2 (approx 301 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the ground floor of an 19th century walk up building.

The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall with staircase.

Then a second gate opens into the courtyard.

The entrance door opens into the main room and the open kitchen.

The 24m2 (approx 258 sq ft) main room has a window with western exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a double size sofa bed, two bedside tables, an armchair, a chest of drawers, a desk and chairs, a TV with cable, a phone and a closet. Internet connection is available.

The open kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee maker.

The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a heated towel rack, some closets and a toilet. There is also a washing machine.

Heat and hot water are both electric. Air conditiong is also available in the apartment.

For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Les Gobelins (line 7) and Campo-Formio (line 5).
