We only saw the owner for two minutes when we arrived. We had a problem leaving the apartment; we had no possibility to throw away the garbage, because we came late at night and left at 5am the next morning and the door were the disposables are, closes at 8pm and opens app.7am. I wrote several times to the owner apologizing, we never received an answer, although we left the ap. in perfect conditions. |

I'm a bit surprised by your feedback. As regards to check-in, I leave the keys under the doormat and a guide for the apartment so people are free to arrive with no time commitment and can discover the accommodation on their own. |

The apartment is very compact by American standards and a little oddly arranged (bathtub/shower by bedroom, toilet in kitchen/living room area), but since we mainly were there to sleep, it was definitely adequate to our needs. |

The apartment is compact indeed (30m2) for there is no loss of space and as functional as can be for a 1 bedroom vacation rental with all mod cons (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, tub, large washbasin). It is due to the fact that it used to be 3 small rooms that were merged to create an atypical space. |

The apartment itself was good enough for us to sleep in after a long walk exploring Paris. Space was a bit tight but we were in Paris so there was no expectation of a big space. The owner was very nice to us, we did not arrive on the date of arrival as we can't get booking on the train so he gave us an extension of one more night with no charge. The apartment was sufficeint enough for our needs. And yeah, there was a French wine to welcome us :) The only negative side of the apartment was you can hear people going in to their units at 2 or 3am in the morning and they speak LOUD as if they have no neighbours......I guess there is no insulation on the walls. |
