This one bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor (considered 1st by Europeans) of a contemporary 7 story building in the Porte de Clignancourt area, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. The building has a concierge, intercom security system, and elevator. The rental unit receives a lot of sunlight as it has both a southern and northwestern exposure, respectively in the bedroom and living room.
The apartment is decorated in an eclectic style and features hardwood floors throughout. The living area contains a comfortable double sofa bed, a coffee table, bookcases, chest, and a piano. The open kitchen has wooden countertops and stone-tiled walls. It's equipped with the major appliances and utensils to cook meals, which you can enjoy at the breakfast bar, and a convenient dishwasher that'll save you time. The bedroom has a purple wall and is furnished with a queen-size bed and dresser with plenty of storage space to stock your personal belongings. The bathroom includes a bathtub/shower, sink, and toilet; the walls are adorned with mosaic tiles. During your stay, you will have access to cable TV a wireless Internet connection, and a practical in-unit washing machine.
On rue Damrémont & Rue Belliard, in the Porte de Clignancourt neighborhood, this one bedroom apartment is in the northern section of the Seine River's right bank. The 'marché aux Puces' (flea market) is about 0.1 miles (160 meters) away and you can dine at famous nearby restaurants like Chez Ginette (0.6 miles / 965 m). There are plenty of playgrounds and parks around, as well as supermarkets and pharmacies within a 330-ft (100 meters) radius. Best of all, the apartment is less than a mile away from the heart of Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur Basilica! Take a leisurely stroll along the vivid streets and stop by the Espace Dali, on the Place du Tertre. Then climb up the hill and enjoy breathtaking views of Paris! On your way down, relax in Square Louise Michel, and then head southwest to Boulevard de Clichy. As an alternative, you can also take the funicular to the top of the hill; it is on Rue Foyaltier and Rue Tardieu. The Porte de Clignancourt subway station, on line 4, is less than 1/3 miles (480 m) east of the rental building. The Porte de Saint-Ouen and Jules Joffrin stations are within a half-mile (800 m) radius, respectively on lines 13 and 12.
We were very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed our stay. Maria was a pleasant and helpful host. The apartment could be noisy - not just the street (as you would expect in Paris) but also the neighbours. The building could do with a little bit of work. All in al, neither really detractted from our stay.

Thank you for your review Christian. Indeed, the neighbors have a newborn, which can mean noise at times, but unfortunately there isn't much we can do about that.

The photos may not precisely depict the apartment condition because there are details they can't always show. Some items that were damaged will be changed shortly. However, the photos are representative of the space, i.e. an apartment that was entirely redone by an architect 2 years ago. The guests were very respectful, kind and generous.
