Apartment by historic site in Latin Quarter between Rue de Navarre and Rue des Boulangers. This 50m2 one bedroom apartment is located on the sixth French floor of a building from the 19th century, having a security code system and an elevator. The apartment faces west from the living room and east from the sitting room/dinning room and it can accommodate two persons. The layout is as follows: main entry leads to the sitting room/dinning room combination, with separate entries off this room to the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Back to the main entry straight up to the right is the living room. The décor is contemporary. The walls in the living room and sitting/dinning room are off white; the floors are carpeted in a light gray color. The bedroom walls have burgundy color wallpaper and a similar color carpet on the floor. The kitchen walls are off white with decorative tiles over the counter and white tiled floor. The bathroom walls and floor have black tiles. The 20m2 living room is furnished with a black sofa, a white rectangular coffee table, a floor lamp, a corner white table, built-in shelves, a cable TV, a VCR, a stereo system, a telephone, a fan, a vacuum cleaner and other decorative items. There is a decorative fireplace, ceiling spotlights, two windows with black blinds and two built-in closets. The 14m2 sitting room room/dinning room has an oval dinning table with four matching chairs, two white stand tables, bookshelves, and a floor lamp, ceiling spotlights, a window with black blinds overlooking the Arenes de Lutece and other decorative items. The 10m2 bedroom has a double bed, a nightstand, a lamp, a chest of drawers, a radio/alarm clock, a window with shade and other decorative items. The Latin Quarter is undoubtedly one of the most youthful areas of Paris abounding of historical points of interest. Right next to the apartment is the Arenes de Lutece, a roman arena from the late 2nd century, used for theatrical performance and as an amphitheater. This area is abounded by diverse jazz clubs, cafes, cinemas and bookshops. Bordering the Jardin des Plantes Quarter with its popular Rue Mouffetard, the oldest open-air market in Paris. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood. The closest metro stations are Cardinal Lemoine (line 10) or Place Monge (line 7). Lines are provided.
