This 23m2 studio is located on the ground floor of a building from the 19th century facing northwest and having no security code system. The studio can accommodate four people.
The layout is as follows: main entry leads directly into the living room, the kitchen is straight up front, three steps down leads to the bathroom and up a small ladder- leads to the mezzanine (where the bed is). The décor is modern.
The 14m2 living room is furnished with a double sofa bed, a low shelf, a rectangular coffee table, a small black cabinet, a lamp, a TV, a telephone, a rectangular dinning table with four chairs, a floor lamp, an area carpet and a stool. The walls are off white, the floor has a straw carpet and semi picture fenced windows with mini blinds. The upper mezzanine has a double bed, a small lamp a telephone and curtain serving as door. The walls are off white, the floor has green carpet and there is a skylight window.
The open kitchen is equipped with an inlaid electric 2-burners stove with exhaust fan, a refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, an old style toaster, a mini oven, a stainless steel sink, a washing machine and lower and upper cabinets containing some kitchen utensils. The walls are off white with white tiles over the counter and the floor has white tiles.
The bathroom has a shower cabin with sliding plastic doors, a sink, a single shelf, a mirror, an armoire and a toilet. The walls have white tiles, the floor is tiled in white and there is a small window.
Renowned for its mix of art and high living, Montparnasse continues to live up to its name. That mix was especially potent in the 1920s and 1930s when such artists and writers as Picasso, Hemingway, Matisse, Modigliani and others were to be seen in the local bars, cafes and cabarets. This residential area is the home of Paris's tallest office tower Tour Montparnasse. This area is also known for its theater district, most of them on Rue de la Gaite. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
