This duplex is situated on the ground and 1st floors of a building dating from the early 20th century. Charming relics like decorative fireplaces remain as part of the interior décor. The entrance gate is protected by a coded security system that takes you to the courtyard in front of the apartment entrance.

With 95m² of space (about 1000 ft²), this vacation rental offers flexible sleeping accommodations. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room directly adjacent, furnished with a double bed. Both rooms overlook the building's courtyard. Down the hall is a full bathroom with shower and the laundry facilities. From here you have direct access onto the private enclosed terrace, the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or book.

A spiral staircase leads to the lower level, containing the living room and kitchen, as well as the third bedroom. This room has a unique and flexible arrangement, thanks to two sliding Japanese screens that can divide it into thirds. Great for children, there are two single beds and a lofted double bed (note that the ceiling is low when in the lofted bed). Translucent bricks from the terrace above allow some natural light to filter into this room, similar to skylights. However please note that there are no opening windows in this room.

The living room provides a place to relax, with a sitting area facing a flat screen TV with cable access, as well as a place to enjoy meals, with a large dining table. The kitchen, though compact, is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher! Both rooms have windows that look directly onto the common courtyard. A second bathroom with a tub an handheld shower-head and a separate toilet room are down the hall on this floor.

Located in the Alesia community, this three bedroom vacation rental also benefits from a pleasant location near Paris' Montparnasse district. Situated on Rue Raymond Losserand between Rue d’Alesia and Rue Pernety, this apartment is on a commercial street with small shops and eateries, part of a traditional district enclosing the pedestrian Rue Daguerre market (a great option for local produce to cook in the kitchen).

Montparnasse can be easily reached by metro, which is only 50m from the apartment (200 feet). The Plaisance stop serves line 13, which can drop you in Montparnasse in two stops. This a trendy district with many theaters, cinemas, diverse international and selected restaurants and a number of cafes. Also close by is the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area with its elegant fashion shops.
