Attractive apartment near Montmartre between Rue Letort and Rue Championnet.
This 30m2 one bedroom apartment is located on the sixth French floor of a walk-up building from the early 20th century facing northwest and having a security code system and a concierge on the premises. The apartment can accommodate two persons.
The layout is as follows: main entry hall leads to the living room, the bathroom is to the right follow by the kitchen. Back to the main entry- straight up to the left is the bedroom and there is a balcony with access from the living and bedroom areas. The apartment has been entirely remodeled and the décor is modern.
The 12m2 living room is furnished with a chocolate colour velvet sofa (fragile), a round end table, a linen chair from the 50's (also fragile), two floor lamps, a telephone, a marble fireplace (out of use) and a cabinet with a wide flat screen LCD TV with a DVD Player / Recorder. The walls are off white, ceiling moldings, parquet wooden floor, and there is a window with linen curtains overlooking the courtyard.
The 11m2 bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a leather chair (fragile), a night table with small lamp and a non-working marble fireplace with decorative mirror above it. The separate kitchen is equipped with an electric stove 4-burners with exhaust fan, a fridge, an electric mini oven (in cabinet), a toaster, a stainless steel sink and a washing machine. There is a breakfast table with two folding chairs and cabinets, drawers and shelves containing kitchen utensils. The walls are done in a pastel yellow color with partial decorative tiles over the counter, decorative tiled floor and there is a window.
The bathroom has a shower cabin, a sink with upper shelf and mirror, a towel rack and an electric toilet (fragile). The walls are done in a yellow color with partial white tiles and brick color tiled floor. There is a health club named 'Gymnase club' at 200 meters from the apartment and a Virgin Mega Store.
The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable, at the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are tiny exquisite squares, winding streets, small terraces and long stairways plus the Butte's famous vineyard. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, most especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur basilica. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
The closet metro station is Jules Joffrin or Simplon line 4.
