Wonderful Bed & Breakfast overlooking the sea in the old feudal village of Haut de Cagnes

On top of the hill where the old village of Cagnes sur Mer is located, this authentic inn has been totally renovated and decorated by its owner a few years ago. There are seven bedrooms, all with queen-size beds (two twins set together) and private bathrooms, large closets or dressers, satellite TV (17 channels), free mini-bar with water, juices, or soft drinks , no alcohol-, double-glazing windows and air-conditioning. Maid service is included, bed & bath linens are provided. The telephone restricted to incoming or internal calls. Pets and smoking are allowed. There is a private parking protected by an iron gate and a 4 digits code. The parking can park up to 10 cars and has direct access to the house through a private stairway. There is no swimming pool for the moment. Minimum length of stay : 2 nights. No maximum. You can even rent the whole house if needed ! For weddings, cocktail-parties, seminaries or openings and art exhibitions a large room that we couldn't shot- is available. In the house, on the first/ground floor, the guests have access to a large lounge with an ancient fireplace and a large bay window overlooking the town of Cagnes and the sea. For breakfast, they can either use the dining room, which has a huge wrought-iron dining table seating 8-10, and a stone fireplace, or the terrace outside. Please, note that breakfasts are served until noon and are not included. No other meals are available for lunch or dinner. But there are plenty of restaurants all around in this historical quarter of Cagnes. All the bedrooms and all our pictures (except the # 6 that we couln't take pictures of) are shot in the order of the following description : - The bedroom N. # 1 is on the second floor, on the western part of the house. The bed faces a south exposed window overlooking the terrace and, farther, the sea. There is a decorative fireplace in the bedroom. The pink private bathroom has two sinks, a bathtub, a shower and WC. - The bedroom N. # 2 is on the second floor as well but on your left hand when going up the stairs. It has a window facing the street. The private bathroom has a double sink and a bathtub. - The 3rd bedroom, "La Suite" has a private living room with a window facing the street and a large bedroom with two windows looking onto the terrace and the sea. The private bathroom has two sinks, a bathtub and WC. If needed, this 3rd bedroom can be rented with the bedroom N. 2. Then, you would have a private apartment with its own entrance, two bedrooms with their two bathrooms, and a living room. - The bedroom N. # 4 is on the third/top floor, on the western part of the house (actually, it is the same as the bedroom N. # 1). It has a south exposed window overlooking the terrace and the sea, and a decorative fireplace. The blue private bathroom has two sinks, a bathtub, a shower and WC. - The bedroom N. # 5 is on the eastern part of the third/top floor and has a window overlooking the street and a decorative fireplace. The bathroom has a double sink, a bathtub and WC. - The bedroom N. # 6 could not be shot because it wasn't vacant. It is on the ground floor, on the eastern building of the inn. It has a window facing the terrace. The bathroom has a double sink, a bathtub and WC. - The bedroom N. # 7 is the last one on our pictures. It is by the bedroom N. # 6, on the ground floor as well, facing the terrace. The bathroom has a sink, a bathtub and WC. The house is located a few minutes away from the old "Chateau Grimaldi". A free bus, running approximately every 15 minutes can get you down the hill to the center of the town in a few minutes. Restaurants (24 total !) and shops are all around, in the historical quarter and in the town. There is a daily market in the local cover-market. For golf lovers, there are 9 Golf courses. The feudal village of "Haut de Cagnes" is 10 minutes drive from the beach, 5 km from St Paul de Vence, 6 km from Antibes, 15 km from Cannes and 25 km from Monaco. The"Nice Cote d'Azur" international Airport is only 5 km away.
