This home stay is located in Aubignan, a small village of the "Vaucluse District", 20 km from Avignon, Orange, Vaison la Romaine and Carpentras. The owner has the whole village house and receives guests all year long. Four guest rooms are available each can accommodate a couple. Breakfasts are included in the rent and can be served either in the dining room or the private courtyard and small garden. Ground floor : The large living room is furnished with two sofas, a lounge table, some armchairs and cushions, as well as Antique pieces of furniture and a piano. Next to this area is a large dining table. From this room you have access to a large covered terrace and a small courtyard and garden with trees, plants and garden furniture. The separate kitchen is used by the owner who will serve breakfast. No other meals than breakfasts are served. Second floor : The "white bedroom" is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The "blue room" is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a desk and a piano. These rooms share a bathroom, with a washbasin, a tub and a toilet. Third floor : Two more bedrooms are available. The "yellow room" is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, an armchair and a small desk (there is an extra baby bed). The "red room" is furnished with two double beds, bed side tables and a wardrobe. These two rooms can ideally be shared by a family since you have to cross on of the rooms to have access to the shared bathroom. This bathroom is equipped with a shower, a wash basin and a toilet Neighborhood : Aubignan is very close to Avignon, Carpentras, Orange, L'Isle sur Sorgues. It is ideally located for a few nights stop to discover the region : Les Dentelles de Montmirail, Le Mont Ventoux, La Fontaine de Vaucluse, L'Isle sur Sorgues (Antiques village) - The Luberon is at 30 mn drive, with its famous villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon... - Les Alpilles also at 30 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence... - La Camargue is an hour drive from Aubignan (Camargue National Park, beaches, Stes Maries de la Mer.) Access : 20 km from Avignon, 100 km from Marseilles, 200 km from Lyon. You can get to Aubignan by road (A 7 motorway to Avignon Nord or Orange Sud, then by road) or by train to Avignon (TGV) and drive from there. You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport.
