Peaceful Bed and Breakfast in Cavaillon, near Avignon. The owners of the lovely Mas have a great sense of hospitality, they will welcome you In this peaceful, entirely refurbished Mas, located just by the Luberon, in the countryside of Cavaillon, region of Avignon. Ground Floor Living Room : Spacious and tastefully decorated. It is furnished with a rectangle dining table, a large beige sofa, a coffee table and three armchairs There is a central modern fireplace. Large kitchen : The Provence style kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking utensils. An electric oven and burners with extractor, a microwave oven and a dishwasher are available. There is a round dining table. There is a separate WC. First French Floor The stair case give access to a pleasant library with two armchairs. Two bedrooms are available. The "Blue" bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. It can accommodate 2 people (pictures could not be taken at the time of the visit). The "Green" suite is furnished with two double beds (one queen size, one double size). It can accommodate 2 or 4 people. Each bedroom has a window facing the park and an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, a shower and a toilet. Breakfast can be served in the living room or in the garden. OUTSIDE : The Mas is surrounded by a large park planted with lawn and trees. There is also a nice swimming pool located in a very private area of the garden. Some garden furniture is available. The Mas can be rented with (12 people total) or without the second small house (8 people) Neighborhood : Cavaillon is very close to Avignon and the Luberon region. It is ideally located the beautiful sites of Provence. - Avignon, and its monuments (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes...), the Theater Festival de Théâtre in july, and many museums. - The Luberon is at 30 mn drive, with its famous villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon... - Les Alpilles also at 30 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence... - L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue famous for the Antiques village. - La Route des Vins, "the wine road"(Gigondas and "les Dentelles de Montmirail", Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape...) - La Camargue is an hour drive from Avignon (Camargue National Park, beaches, Stes Maries de la Mer.) Access : 55 km from Marseilles, 250 km from Lyon. You can get to Cavaillon by road (motorways) or by train (TGV). You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport.
