This apartment is located on the First French floor of a large house in heart the town of Vaison la Romaine, which is know as one of the most beautiful towns surrounded by authentic fortified villages of the Northern Vaucluse.
This 2 bedroom apartment of approximately 60 square meters can accommodate 4 people.
You enter the apartment through a large terrace with a lovely view onto the small town and the surrounding hills. The terrace has garden furniture.
The living room is equipped with a double convertible sofa bed, two cane chairs, a chest of drawers and a TV.
The open kitchen is equipped with 4 gas burners and electric oven, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. It has all necessary cooking utensils. There is a dining table.
The first bedroom is furnished with a double “baldaquin” bed. There is a window opening onto a quiet garden.
The second bedroom has two single beds a bedside table and a wardrobe. There is a window facing west.
These bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub, a washbasin and a toilet.

On the ground floor of the villa is an independent accommodation with private entrance, terrace and garden.

This small town of Vaison la Romaine is located in the Vaucluse department, about 10 km from Nyons, 15 kilometers from Orange and Bollène.
Vaison-la-Romaine, a Town of Art, is rich in cultural heritage. It was built up in the Middle Ages and modern times but the town owes its fame to its ancient Roman past. "La Romaine" was added in 1924. The Gallo-Roman remains, spread over several sites, make Vaison-la-Romaine the largest archaeological site in France. The museum on the Puymin site is more popular than most of the prestigious tourist sites in the region with 60 000 to 65 000 visitors a year. The Medieval Town attracts every visitor's attention, perched on the hill, overlooking the main town with its impressive castle of the Counts of Toulouse.
The closest highway is the A9, exit Orange-Sud, 15 minutes drive away. This highway goes from the Spanish border to Orange with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.
The closest train station is at Orange or at Avignon, which is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes !
The closest airport is Avignon or Nîmes-Garons with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
