Neighbourhood :
The house is located in the countryside of Aix en Provence , 6 kilometers from Vauvenargues, 5 km from Aix en Provence city Center so you will definitely need a car.
From the property, you have a nice view of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain (that drew famous painter Cézanne a century ago) which culminating at 1,011 meters. It is also the landscape of other famous painters such as Picasso who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region. Indeed, Pablo Picasso bought and lived in a castle located by the village of Vauvenargues. The artist was actually buried there. But the castle is unfortunately not open to visits.
