Description - South France Furnished Apartment (PR-366) See this page in   Français   Deutsch   Español   Italiano
Large Studio with terrace overlooking the sea and the town of Nice
This large studio of about 45 sqm (plus terrace) is located in a very residential area near the "Col de Villefranche", on a hill overlooking the city of Nice, the blue Mediterranean Sea and the Alps when the weather is mild. The apartment is in a postwar building (built in the 1960's) with an intercom system. This accommodation is available for monthly rentals throughout the year. It comfortably sleeps 2 people.

You enter the apartment through a hallway. The hallway distributes the living room, the kitchen, and the kitchen. You can also access the kitchen directly from the living room, and the kitchen as well as the living room has direct access to the terrace through French windows. The kitchen is separated which is a good amenity for a studio.

The living room is about 20 sqm and is furnished with two twin beds as well as a double size sofa bed. There is a desk with a chair and large built-in closet. From this living area, a large French door opens onto a terrace that overlooks the city and the sea. On the terrace, a dining table can accommodate 4 people.

The separate eat-in-kitchen is fully equipped with gas and electric burners, an oven, a refrigerator / freezer, and a washing machine. A dining table can seat 3 people. A French window opens to the terrace.

The blue-tiled bathroom has a bathtub/shower, and a sink with mirror. Toilet is separated.

The apartment is located near the "Moyenne Corniche" that leads from Nice towards Villefranche Sur Mer and Monaco (and vice-versa). There is a bus stop a few steps from the apartment so you have regular shuttles for the center of Nice where are all the shops and restaurants. Near the apartment are a a few stores such as groceries, bakeries, bank, pharmacy, petrol station and a hypermarket.

You can also depart for nice pedestrian walks through the Forest toward Villefranche.

Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France ; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot : the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences.
The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 20 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 40-50 minutes away.
