Studio with Balcony in Le Suquet - Rue Georges Clemenceau

This studio of approximately 27 sqm is situated on the 3rd French floor of a postwar building, near the harbor of Cannes, in the famous quarter of "Le Suquet". The building is equipped with an intercom system and an elevator. There is a concierge.
This accommodation is available for weekly rentals during the summer and special events (such as the Film Festival), but can also be rented for a few months during off-peak season. It comfortably accommodates 2 people.
The living area is furnished with two double size sofa beds (a large one, and a smaller one), and a dining table seating 2 to 4. There is a TV and an air-cooler. A French window opens to a balcony overlooking a small one-way street.
The open kitchen has is equipped with four gas burners, an oven, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator / freezer. There is another window next to the French window.
The bathroom has a stall shower, a sink with mirror and water closet.
The apartment is wonderfully located, down the hill of Le Suquet, very near the harbor and the beaches. This district has many shops and restaurants nearby. Le Suquet is in the western part of Cannes. La Croisette and Le Palais des Festivals are 7 minutes walk away. For transportation, everything is within reach: buses, taxis, train station ... You can also take the ferries to the Lérins Island and even further, i.e. San-Remo, Monaco, Saint-Tropez etc.
After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented: among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel ... or Hermès. Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera.
The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only four hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
