South France Apartment 2 Bedroom Rental in Lorgues, French Riviera (PR-501)

This 2 bedroom apartment is located on an independent wing of a country house in Saint Antonin-du-Var with a private garden and shared pool.

You enter the house through the living room.

The living room if furnished with a double sofa, a coffee table a desk and a TV. There is a working wood stove.
The open eat in kitchen if equipped with 4 gas burners, a small a microwave oven with grill, a refrigerator / freezer and a dishwasher.

The living room has a sliding French window opening onto a large terrace with wooden garden furniture and a private garden space.

The bedroom is furnished with two single beds a wardrobe and a desk.

You have access to another large mezzanine bedroom through a wooden stair via the living area. It is furnished with a double bed, a bedside table and a built in wardrobe.

Off the entrance is a bathroom with a washbasin, a tub, a French bidet and toilet.(It is equipped with a washing machine.)

OUTSIDE/GARDEN AREA:
Outside, the garden offers plenty of space for lounging and sunbathing. It is completely private and there are no other houses nearby. There are garden chairs and a table and a gas powered barbecue for 'al fresco' meals. The swimming pool is shared with the main house, and you are welcome to use it. The pool is fenced off from the wing for security purposes if small children are staying.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
There are endless country lanes to explore, not to mention 20 vineyards in the immediate vicinity. The nearby local towns are Lorgues (well-known for its colourful market) and Salernes (the most important ceramics centre is the south of France). The village of St. Antonin du Var itself consists of a corner store, the post office, a superb bakery, the Mairie and a fishmonger who comes once a week! During the summer the committee des fetes organize all sorts of outdoor events - so there is always something to do.

Situated between Nice (80km) and Aix en Provence, the closest airports are Nice, Toulon, Marseilles.
