This 18th triplex house is very authentic and can accommodate 7 people.
It faces South.
Ground Floor :
Entrance hall, small service room with washing machine and central stairs giving access to three upper levels.
First French Floor :
The 25m2 living room is decorated with nice antique furniture. There are four armchairs and a small desk. It is decorated with a fireplace and terracotta tiles.
Next to this room is a 10m2 alcove bedroom with a double bed.
The open kitchen is equipped with most necessary cooking utensils. It has a sink, 4 gas burners and an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, a coffee maker, a microwave oven and an electric kettle. It is furnished with two large shelves. The dining area is furnished with a large rectangle dining table with matching cupboard.
There is a bathroom with a shower with small tub and a separate toilet.
Second French Floor :
Up the stairs you will find three bedrooms and a bathroom.
To the right is a small 8m2 bedroom furnished with a single bed and a small desk. Next to this room is a bathroom with a washbasin a tub and a separate wc.
Through the waiting room you will have access, to the right to a is a 12m2 bedroom furnished with a double bed and to the left to a 10 m2 bedroom with two single beds. Both rooms have a window facing south.
Third Floor :
A 14m2 bedroom furnished with two single bed.
A large and bright 35m2 living room furnished with two sofas and three armchairs, a round dining table, a large bookshelf, and a TV. It has access to a small terrace (east exposure).
Next to this room is a small office with a phone and a window facing south. This room also has access to the terrace.
Neighborhood :
In Saint Saturnin les Apt you will find the main commodities. (a small supermarket, bakeries, pharmacy, post office, bars and restaurants but also a public swimming pool and tennis courts.)
The nearest town is Apt where you will find all kinds of shops. Do not miss the Saturday market in Apt which is very typical and colourful.
- The Luberon region is famous for its villages on the hills (Gordes, Oppède le vieux, Lacoste...), Roussillon...
- L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue famous for the Antiques village.
- Les Alpilles also at 50 mn drive , St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence...
- La Route des Vins, 'the wine road' (Gigondas and 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail', Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape...)
- Avignon, and its monuments (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes...), the Theater
Festival de Théâtre in july, and many museums.
- Aix en Provence.
Access :
100 km from Marseilles, 200 km from Lyon.
You can get to St Saturnin by road (motorway to Cavaillon or TGV train Avignon).You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles airport and drive from there.

We were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely residence for 12 months in 2008. We were very warmly received by our hosts. We were no sooner there that they helped us set up all our utilities and even helped my daughter find an appropriate coat to buy. |
