Quiet one bedroom in a Villa with Pool in Carry le Rouet, Blue Coast , a stone s throw from beach.

The property is located in a private domain with security access on the coast of Carry-le-Rouet and just by the sea (calanque). This apartment is on the ground floor of a spacious villa, has an independent entrance and can accomodate two people. You enter the apartment through the south exposed terrace along the pool and a french door. The living room is furnished with a double sofa and two comfortable armchairs and has a built-in closet. There is TV/DVD/Video/HiFi. The open fully equipped kitchen has a sink, two electric burners, fridge+freezer, a microwave oven, a coffee-maker, toaster and a kettle. There is a large cupboard with plenty of dishes, cutlery and kitchen accessories and a round dining table with four chairs. Both kitchen and living room are facing the pool. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a desk, a large shelf rack and a built-in cabinet. There is window opening onto the quiet garden. A ceiling fan and airconditionning is also available. The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and plenty of cabinets. There is terrace space and a private garden area with garden furniture. You will enjoy the heated swimming pool (May through Oct. only). A car park is available within the secluded premises. The house is located right by the seaside. A small path next to the house leads down to the small rocky beach (calanque) in a two minutes'walk. Carry-le-Rouet, famous through Fernandel, is the Pearl of the Blue Coast, ideally located in the « Golden Triangle » of the South, in equal distance to Aix-en-Provence (35 kms) and Marseille and only 15 minutes'drive from Marseille-Provence international airport reachable by expressway A55. The village of Carry-le-Rouet has a casino, a cinema, a sailing and scuba diving club, lots of shopping and charmful restaurants along the marina. There are rocky and sandy beaches. The nextby village is Sausset-les-Pins having a golf driving range and a 6 hole-course. Further along the Blue Coast you can reach Carro, most wellknown surfing spot of South of France and lots of fish restaurants. A few kilometers up north you reach the town of Martigues which has been baptized « Venise Provençale » by Vincent Scotto because of its charmful architecture built onto canals. Martigues is more than just a port, it is a real lakeside town where hundreds of boats glide through the everchanging lagoon. The town and the Etang de Berre attracted many painters such as Ziem or Corot, their favourite spot being the « miroir aux oiseaux ». Many open-air cafés allow one to relish the delights of sardines and mouclades (shellfish speciality) in summer. Last but not least, you will be wellcomed by a polyglott landlady (speaking french, english, german and spanish) who will be delighted to help you get around discovering the wonderfull Provence!.
