The apartment is located on the garden level of a villa in Cagnes sur Mer, a town near Nice in the French Riviera.
You enter the apartment through a private entrance at the west of the villa leading to the studio. The apartment is on the ground floor. Parking space can be found easily on the street.
The open kitchen is equipped with 4 gas burners, a multifunction microwave (grill and microwave), refrigerator with freezer and a washing machine. To the right, you will find the living area that is normally furnished with two armchairs, however these can be replaced by a trundle bed (two single size beds) upon request. Three steps lead you down to the sleeping area, which has a double size bed, a dresser and a small closet.
There is a television and Internet access for entertainment, and air conditioning is available to cool the apartment.
From the living room you have a direct access to a private terrace and small garden space, complete with a shaded table and chairs. A barbecue is available.

The apartment is close to Cagnes Centre, 1.4 km from the sea.
There is a shopping centre 700 m away (Val Fleuri).
Cagnes sur Mer is located only 10 km west of Nice.(20 Min drive).
Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France ; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot : the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. Do not miss the Carnival at the very beginning of February!

Quick access via A8 Motorway.
The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d’Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.

Really charming apartment, with a nice outdoor area surrounded by greenery. Space is used to its best and has all the comforts. Not far from the town center with all the facilities such as supermarket, stores, bus stop, and the sea. Very kind and helpful owners. |

My wife and I lived in the Apt. from Jan 1 to June 30, 2013. It is a small space, 28 square meters - but comfortable and well appointed. We had to purchase linen & towels as these were not provided. Because we stayed there during the winter, we found the floors to be cold (the Apt. is on the ground floor - the landlord is aware of this and has indicated he will address the situation). |

I have read your review Danielle. When the studio was fully renovated 2 years ago, we selected quality features, but it wasn't possible to install a subfloor heating system. We are on the French Riviera and the floor temperature doesn't go below 14 degrees as the thermometer that measures the variations in temperatures shows in the wine cellar that I have in the basement beside. |
