You will find this one bedroom annex apartment to be well situated in Provence, as the village that contains it, Eyragues, is surrounded by typical villages and historical landmarks. This accommodation is part of a structure including the next-door villa, but you will have your own electronically protected entrance and access to the terrace and garden, where a pool and landscaped garden, combined with the usually mild-to-hot weather, make it worth the trip.
The entrance brings you into the living room and its sofa and TV, from where you can access any other part of the apartment. The bedroom opens to a double bed and its dressing room, with its little French library. The kitchen with all its amenities and a table to eat on (only if it is too chilly to eat on the terrace in front of the pool!) also displays a traditional brick pizza type oven, an alternative to the modern microwave used for the conventional food, or a stone bar, perfect for serving drinks. From there the glass wall of windows speaks for itself: view on the 12m long pool just outside the sliding doors, bordered by your own cast-iron table set under a plant-covered canopy to protect you from the sun. Just picture yourself relaxing in a chaise or swimming along the pool, this is how it should be! And for any information or help to provide, the owner typically occupy the adjacent house.
If you are interested in areas with character, this vacation rental is certainly for you. First of all the picturesque village of Eyragues, where you will be only 400m from the center and its stores, cafés and restaurants. The surrounding cities and villages, for instance Avignon (8km) and St Rémy de Provence (5km) to mention only the closest, have an abundance of history and tradition to discover. Avignon offers a great deal of theaters and shopping opportunities, overlooked by the impressive Palace of Popes where you can understand why 7 different resided there. St Rémy is the typical example of a village in Provence and the lifestyle that characterizes it, where Nostradamus or van Gogh lived to find their inspiration. Another gem nearby is Les Baux de Provence (8km) where stands nationally known landscape and a lovely center, with many well-known restaurants. So if you have your car, a parking space is available in front of the apartment and around you go.
The city of Avignon will give you access to the South of France, for example Marseille, in slightly more than an hour, or even Paris in less than 3 hours. Otherwise the airport of Avignon has regular flights to and from Paris, from where the rest of the world opens up.
