South France Accommodation - 3 Bedroom Rental in Le Cannet, French Riviera (PR-1128)

This 2-floor vacation rental villa with 3 bedrooms is located in the heart of Le Cannet, a picturesque small city near Cannes, on the French Riviera. This early 20th century house still displays hints of its heritage combined with an art deco charm to it, and whether inside the house, on one of the two balconies or resting in a chair in the garden, there are many ways to make the most of the usually sunny climate. You will also find yourself with a garage to leave the car, a useful asset to reach the nearby beaches.

The interior of the vacation rental accommodation itself is bright and colorful, starting with the living room’s furniture matching the hardwood floors. The stone walls contrast nicely with the modern features, and these thick walls will help keep in the cool from the heat outside. The space is accented by the high ceilings and the large windows. A set of sofas face a wall-hung TV connected to cable, making it the ideal room for common activities. The garden is directly accessible from the living room, which you can see from inside through the two window-doors oriented south, and a sunny window bay facing east. The garden has an area covered in lawn, and you will certainly enjoy making use of the barbecue or simply watching the peaceful array of plants and trees. The kitchen is right next door, with its own access to the garden, allowing you to eat in or out! There is also a bathroom on the same floor with a shower, a washing machine and its dryer. The next part of the house is on the second floor, accessible via the stairway at the entrance. Here you will find the three bedrooms dispersed around the common bathroom with shower. The first bedroom has a double sized sofa bed, a little decorative fireplace and a window giving north onto the garden. The second and third bedroom have direct access to a balcony with a magnificent 180 degree view south, over the city of Cannes and onto the nearby Mediterranean Sea. They both have a double bed, the third bedroom’s being a loft bed and all bedrooms are furnished in a varied contemporary style.

Le Cannet is a small city on the outskirts of Cannes, which is a famous celebrity gathering due its beaches and the fact that it hosts the famous Cannes Film Festival. The city of Le Cannet is full of small businesses and stores, especially on Boulevard Sadi Carnot (2 blocks), the main artery in the area. You will also have a selection of restaurants and cafés on the historical center of Le Cannet on Rue Saint-Sauveur (3 blocks), where for instance Le Coin Gourmet offers a taste of simple and delicious food made from fresh ingredients. The surroundings offer all you can ask for, as the Mediterranean Sea extends east and west, with many good surprises if you feel brave enough to visit, the cities of Fréjus and Nice being around a half-hour away. Nice is the largest city in the area, where a large array of museums, beautiful walks along the beach, randomly wandering next to the palaces are worth the trip. Cannes is the closest pick (2 miles) for its large offer of high-end stores and renowned restaurants right next to the beach. You may also turn the other way and go up north to Grasse (15 miles), also the called the world’s perfume capital. And perhaps go for a day in the Verdon National Park further north (40 miles), where probably the most impressive canyon that you can follow in a boat. And for the golf lovers, you will be within minutes of a golf course in Mougins.

To get back home, the Nice airport is a short drive away, from this three bedroom duplex from where regular national and international flights will take you where you want to go through a change. You can take the train in Cannes, taking you to Paris in over 5 hours, or drive along the coastal highway along the coast.
