4 Bedroom Villa with Pool on the edge of Malaucène - Northern Vaucluse

This villa is located in a very residential neighborhood of Malaucène, 400 meters from the Tourist Office and the City Hall. You enter the property through an automatic iron gate equipped with an intercom system. You can park two cars at the back of the house. The villa of approximately 155 sqm can accommodate 8 people and distributes a large living room, an open kitchen, four bedrooms and a bathroom. It has a swimming pool (4 by 8 meters). This accommodation is either available for weekly summer rentals during summer or for monthly rentals throughout the year. The whole house is equipped with home automation (electronic domotics) so wherever you are you can turn on/off the light, open or close the shutters, turn on/off the alarm system just with a phone call. It's definitely worth a look (and a try) and can be really convenient ! The living room is about 68 sqm and is furnished with two rattan sofas, a lounge table and a large tiled dining table seating 8 people. There is a TV and some bookshelves. Two large French doors looking onto the swimming pool lead to the terrace where is a teak table and a parasol. The open kitchen has brand new countertops and plenty of cabinets. It is equipped with gas burners, an oven, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher. The first bedroom is furnished with a double size bed. It has a closet and a door opening onto the garden. A second bedroom has a double size bed and a closet as well. It has a window that looks onto a special place to play "à la Pétanque". The bathroom has a double sink, a bathtub, and a stall shower. Water closet is separated. Off the entrance, at the back of the building are two other bedrooms. The third bedroom has a double size bed and a closet. In the fourth bedroom are two twin beds and closet space as well. There is a laundry room with a washing machine. Malaucène is picturesque village located 3 kilometers from Vaison La Romaine, at the north of the Ventoux Mountain. It is also 35 kilometers north from Avignon. The Ventoux Mountain culminates at an altitude of 1,912 meters and is usually covered by a thick coat of snow in winter. It has been classified as "Biosphere reserve" by the UNESCO. Its majestic windswept peak sails through the clouds, like a gigantic ship of stone. On the spurs of this mountain are the picturesque medieval villages and castles of Caromb, and Barroux, well worth a visit. To the South-East, the Ventoux slopes gently down to the village of Sault before climbing again to the plateau of Albion. The area is particularly famous for its exceptional variety of rambling circuits, which will lead nature lovers along wonderful paths. But the dominant feature of the local landscape is also its vineyards. As a matter of fact, the "Coteaux du Ventoux" is a famous wine producing area. You will be able to do wine tasting session or visit authentic cellars.
