Cozy two bedroom Apartment in Marseilles - 1st district.
|
This large two bedroom apartment is located, in the heart of Marseilles (1st district). It can accommodate 4 people. (6 people very max).
The layout is as follows:
The entry hall leads to the right to the living room, straight ahead to the separate kitchen, the bedrooms and the bathroom.
The large living room is furnished with a double convertible sofa bed , two armchairs and a coffee table. Next to the living room is the dining area furnished with a rectangle dining table and a large cupboard.
There are two large French doors opening onto a balcony with lots of flowers and a beautiful view over the city and the Church of Notre Dame de la Garde.
There is a home theater system, large LCD TV Screen with satelitte TV.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, four vitroceramic hot-plates, extractor, an American fridge, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave oven. A washing machine and a dryer are available. Next to the kitchen is a small loggia ideal for breakfast.
The first bedroom is furnished with a double Baldaquin bed and a built in closet. It has a window facing the street.
The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds : 2 single beds than can be put together to get a King size bed and a cane furniture set composed of two arm chairs and a small sofa.
It also has a window facing the street.
These rooms share a large bathroom equipped with a washbasin, a tub, a French bidet and a washbasin. There is a separate WC.
You will enjoy the long balcony with flowers and garden furniture.
Neighborhood :
The "Réformés" area is in the heart of Marseilles. All shops are available at walking distance. The Church "Les Réformés" is nearby. Do not forget to make a stop at "Les Danaides" a very trendy café on square Stalingrad.
The nearest subway station is a few steps from the apartment (Line # 1 . "Réformés" Station, or Line #2 "Noailles" Station). You will get to The "Vieux Port" in a few minutes walk.
Access to Marseilles :
Marseilles Provence International Airport (30 mn from the center)
Train : Gare Saint Charles with the high speed TGV giving access to and from Paris in 3hours ½ but also Nice, Cannes and the Alps is about 3 hours.
Highways from and two all directions (East to the French Riviera, North East to the southern Alps, West to the Cote Blue and Spain, North to Lyon and Paris.
Marseilles is a large Mediterranean city. It is famous for its 'Vieux Port', 'La Canebière', Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral .
