It is famous for it's landscapes (Cezanne) . The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'.
Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps).

40 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon.
You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way A51 and A8) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseille Provence Airport (15mn drive).
