2 bedroom little Villa in the village of Mollégès, near Saint-Rémy de Provence & Avignon
|
This little villa is located on the edge of the little village of Mollégès, about 10 kilometers from the famous village of Saint-Rémy de Provence, and 20 kilometers from Avignon. This accommodation is available for daily or weekly rentals throughout the year and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. The owners leave next to the house, on the same property, in case you need anything. There is one resident dog in the property.
The accommodation is on the same estate as PR-377, another two bedroom little house, which is also available for rental. There is a large swimming pool (10 x 5 meters) that you can use and would eventually share with the other occupants of the property.
The villa has two entrances, one from the garden, via the kitchen / living area, the other from the back, via a little hallway.
On the garden level is an east exposed terrace shaded by a pergola with a dining table seating 6, and a barbecue. You enter the house through a living area with open plan kitchen. There is a round dining table and the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, four gas burners, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker, and a washing machine. There is also a TV.
The master bedroom is at the rear and has west exposure: it has a double size bed and a built-in closet.
The bathroom has a sink with mirror, a stall shower and toilet.
You access the second bedroom via a narrow wooden staircase. There are two single beds. This second bedroom has a window overlooking the back of the property and another one that overlooks the kitchen / living area.
The house is located on the edge of a little village, so you will definitely need a car. You are between the famous Alpilles (5 kilometers away) and the Luberon mountains (15 kilometers). Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture. It is also the landscape of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne and Matisse who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region.
The little village of Mollégès has a few restaurants and cafés as well as a bakery, a grocery, and a post office. The closest large village is Saint-Rémy de Provence (5-10 minutes drive distant). Its local market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Or you can go the picturesque market of L'Isle sur La Sorgues (on Sundays). This lovely village is famous for its Antique flea market.
The closest motorway is the A7 (exit Cavaillon) is 5-10 minutes drive away. It goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France. Aix en Provence is about 60 kilometers away, which is about 30-40 minutes drive.
The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes! The closest airport is Avignon (20 minutes drive away) as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
