This villa of approximately 140 sqm is located in the private domain, between Salon & Aix en Provence. The domain of Pont-Royal is about 180 hectares and became famous for its amazing Golf course, which is one of the biggest in the whole Provence-Lubéron area. The domain also hosts the Pierres & Vacances resort, which is a good amenity as all the residents of the domain -thanks to a special pass- will have access to the different pools (including the one with artificial waves, and the "enchanted river"), or the equestrian center ... during spring and summertime. There is a guardian at the entrance of the domain. The villa belongs to a large complex of houses built and sold by "Kaufman & Broad". This accommodation sleeps 8 people and is available for weekly or monthly rentals throughout the year. It distributes a large living / dining area with an open kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. There is a heated swimming pool. The living room has a fireplace, and is furnished with two sofas, and a lounge table. There are two French window opening to the garden and a window that looks onto the street. For your entertainment, you may enjoy a cabled TV, a DVD as well as a stereo with CD player. The dining area is between the living room and the kitchen. It has a dining table seating 6-8. A French window leads to the south terrace and the swimming pool. Outside is a teak table seating 6-8 that is shaded by a large umbrella as well as deckchairs. The separate ea-in-kitchen has a French window that looks onto the pool as well. It is furnished with a dining table seating 6 and equipped with electric burners, a stove, a coffee machine, a toaster, a microwave, a refrigerator / freezer and a dishwasher. There is a laundry room with an extra freezer and a washing machine. From the dining room, stairs leads to the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double size bed, and a south-exposed window overlooking the swimming pool. There is a large dressing room as wel as an en-suite bathroom with double washbasin and bathtub equipped with Whirlpool and water stream system. Toilet is separated. The second bedroom is on the northwest corner of the villa. It has a double size bed and a built-in closet The third bedroom is on the southwest corner and has two twin beds, a dresser as well as a closet. The fourth bedroom has a south exposed balcony overlooking the swimming pool. It has a double size bed. The second bathroom has a double washbasin and a bathub. The property is located only 2-3 minutes walk from the village of Pont-Royal. There is an enclosed garden On the main square there is Provencal Market every Thursday. There are also many cafés and restaurants as well as a tourist office. This landscaped domain is ideal for nature lovers: from the golf course, to the lake, many settings are all over the domain. Pont-Royal is located in the heart of the south Lubéron: Aix en Provence is 30 kilometers away, and Avignon 40 kilometers away. The location is also perfect for local festivals: Salon with its famous Jazz Festival (Château de L'Amperi) is about 30 minutes drive, Avignon and the Theater Festival, Aix en Provence and the Classical Music Festival are about 45 minutes drive, and last but not least: La Roque d'Anthéron and its Piano Festival is only 10 minutes drive away. The famous Sylvacane abbey is also nearby and definitely worth a look! The closest highway is the A7, exit Sénas, 15 minutes drive away. This highway goes from the Italian border to Orange with connections for all major cities of the south east of France. The closest train station is Aix en Provence - Les Milles, which is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 3 hours! The closest airport is Marseille - Marignane that has daily flights to Paris or to many other major towns of the world. Or most international connections from France are made through the international airport of Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
