Cozy One bedroom Apartement with terrace - Overlooking the Lérins Islands

This lovely 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment of about 30 sqm is located on the 1st French floor (i.e. 2nd floor) of a postwar building facing the Mediterranean Sea and the Lérins Islands. There is a large terrace of about 10 sqm. The apartment has due south exposure and looks onto the sea. There is Air-Conditionning and double-glazed windows. This accommodation is available for weekly rentals or monthly rentals throughout the year. It can accommodate 2 people. The living area is furnished with a double size sofa bed, and a dining table seating 2. A large French window gives access to the terrace where is another dining table seating 2, ideal for dinner alfresco. There is a large built-in closet and a stereo with CD player. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric induction hotplates, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric water heater, a refrigerator / freezer, and a dishwasher. The bedroom is off the living room. There is a double size bed, and a TV with DVD player. A window opens to the terrace and looks onto the sea. The bathroom has a a sink, a stall shower, a water closet, and a washing machine. The apartment is wonderfully located, in the western part of Cannes, down the famous and historic district of Le Suquet, near the harbor. La Croisette and Le Palais des Festivals are 10 minutes walk away. The beach is across the street (Boulevard du Midi). Restaurants, cafés are all around. All commodities are within walking distance. After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented: among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel ... or Hermès. Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera. The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Cannes train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant
