Beautiful 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom Penthouse with Terrace in Aix, near the famous Rotonde
|
This 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom Loft with terrace of approximately 180 sqm is located on the 3rd and top floor of a beautiful walk-up prewar building, equipped with an intercom system. The apartment is just a stone's throw from the Rotonde, and the Cours Mirabeau. All the shops, restaurants, groceries, cafés, and most famous monuments of Aix are nearby.
The apartment is a real Loft with large open spaces. As it is a top floor Penthouse, it also has sloping ceilings. There are actually 2 different levels.
On the first floor is a large living area which looks like an artist workshop, with parquet floor, many drawings and photographs on the walls. There is a large desk and a stereo sytem with CD player. A DSL line (high-speed internet access) is available.
There is a double convertible sofa-bed.
Another living area has a sofa, and a hammam (Turkish bath - steam room).
From this second living area, a French window opens to a little east exposed balcony: ideal for breakfasts ! The view on Aix roofs is amazing.
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double size bed. The larger bedroom has a built-in closet, a dresser, and TV with VCR and DVD player.
The first bathroom has a sink and a bathtub shower, the second bathroom a sink and a stall shower. The 2 toilets are separated. There is a washing machine.
Upstairs on the second floor is a fully equipped kitchen: gas and electric burners, oven, refrigerator / freezer, and washing machine. In the dining area, just by the terrace is a large table seating 6-8 guests.
The south exposed terrace us furnished with a teak table and deckchairs. It is a great place to have lunch (even during winter when the weather is sunny) or dinner. As the terrace is at the back of the building it is extremely quiet.
If you have a car, the apartment comes with a private garage, which is a great amenity in such a town.
The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the cosmopolitan air of Aix en Provence and experience what is like to live independently as a true native. Everything is within reach.
We will not introduce you Aix en Provence that is already famous for its art and history. Aix en Provence has a wealthy historical and artistic heritage. The historic center hosts many private mansions and monuments. The surrounding country offers a beautiful and well-preserved countryside. Aix also has the most important courthouse in the region. Many festivals take place in the city throughout the year. It is located near the Marseille-Provence International Airport and the TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Milles station). It is only 20 minutes from the city of Marseille, 40 minutes from Toulon and the Cote d'Azur, and 60 minutes from Avignon.
