Splendid 3 bedroom seafront apartment in Nice historic centre
|
This large three bedroom Sea Front apartment of approximately 120 sqm is located at the limit of the 'Vieux Nice', near the Cours Saleya where the famous Flowers Market takes place, and the Promenade des Anglais. Because of its location the apartment doesn't have the drawback of the streets of the Old section of Nice which do not allow too much light in the apartments in this area.
The apartment is on the third French floor of a prewar building, former palace. There is an intercom system and an elevator. This accommodation is available for weekly rentals and can accommodate 5 people maximum
You enter the apartment via an entrance hall with a double convertible sofabed.
The living room has two windows overlooking the sea and is decorated with nice hard wood floor. It is furnished with a large rectangle dining table, a large sofa and armchairs. There is a TV and a decorative fireplace. The separate kitchen is off the living room and is equipped with 4 gas burners and a stove, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is a washing machine as well.
The first bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a window opening onto the roofs of the old town.
The second bedroom has a double bed (comfortable convertible sofa) and the third bedroom has a single bed. They are furnished with a closet and have a window opening onto the sea.
The bathroom has a washbasin and a tub. There is separate toilet.
A parking space is available in the nearest parking lot.
The Old Town contains a treasure-trove of Baroque art from the 17th and 18th centuries. There are many churches among the narrow streets of this fascinating and timeless district of Nice. The apartment faces the sea near the Cours Saleya where every morning you'll find a Provencal market (with fruits, vegetables and flowers). On Mondays, Antique dealers are selling rare pieces of furniture. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and boutiques all around. It is a very lively district, just a stone's throw from the beach.
Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France ; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot : the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. Do not miss the Carnival at the very beginning of February ! The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.
