3 bedroom - 2 Baths Countryside Provence style home with pool & garden in Lourmarin
|
This Provence style villa is located 800m away from the village of LOURMARIN, one of the most beautiful villages of France, in a calm surrounding.
It can accommodate up to 8 people.
The environment is very attractive, with a view on the countryside, the park and on the mountain of Luberon.
This 2 floors villa is 200m2 is surrounded by a nice patio a covered terrace and a terrace with climbing vine.
The layout is as follows :
You enter the property via a covered terrace.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, electric and gas hotplate, coffee maker and toaster.
Next is the dining area with a rectangle table, an armoire, a cupboard and a working fireplace. The lounge is furnished with a double sofa bed, a cupboard an antique clock, and two very typical of Provence pieces of furniture : Pétrin and Panetière (used to prepare bred in the olden days). There is a TV with Video and a stereo.
Off the lounge is the first bedroom, furnished with two single beds with bed side tables.
The second bedroom is also equipped with two single beds and has a chest of drawers.
These bedroom share a bathroom with a washbasin, a shower and toilet.
Off the lounge is a laundry room with a washing machine and iron with board (and extra shower and WC)
A wooden spiral staircase gives access to the second floor where you will find the master (and 3rd) bedroom.
This large bedroom has lovely exposed beams and is furnished with a double bed and a lovely chest of drawers with mirror. There is an en-suite dressing room and bathroom with a washbasin, a tub and a toilet.
The room has a window opening onto a nice patio and overlooking the garden.
Outside :
The ground around - 2600m2 -is planted olive trees , whitch is fenced. The swimming pool place is sunny, and partly shadowed.
Its sheltered location makes it possible to use the terraces in all seasons.
The swimming- pool (9m x4,6mx1,5M) is closed by a fence and has an alarm system
There is an electric barbecue, sunshade parasols, garden and pool furniture.
Pool relaxing chairs and mattress, ping-pong, volley ball game, a bowls ground. A few bicycles can be borrowed.
There is a private parking in the property.
Neighborhood :
The house is on a quiet path off the village within 10 mn walking distance from cafés, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, squares but also from the Chateau.
Lourmarin, Vaucluse is a nice village in the Luberon region with a lovely Castle, famous for it's landscapes and villages overlooking the valley and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'.
Lourmarin is a unique combination of historic buildings, natural surroundings and a feeling of spaciousness. Surrounded by vineyards, cherry orchards and lavender fields.
It is renowned for its excellent cuisine, with Michelin rated restaurants.
Every Friday is the village market.
Access :
70 km from Marseilles, 20 km from Pertuis, 35 km from Aix en Provence, 55 km from Avignon and 30 km from Cavaillon.
You can get to Lourmarin by road or by train (TGV to Avignon or Aix). You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles and drive from there.
