Romantic 2 bedroom Country house with magnificent garden in the Luberon

Located in the heart of the Luberon, near the picturesque villages of Lourmarin & Lauris, this charming stone country house is available for weekly rentals. There are many decorative items in the house. Therefore this rental is not advisable for people who have small kids. Ground floor : You enter the house through the vaulted living room, furnished with a sofa, a coffee table and comfortable armchairs. There is a nice fireplace and a round dining table seating 5. The open kitchen is fully equipped with electric induction plate, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and freezer and a washing machine. The elegant stone spiral staircase gives access to the first French floor. First Floor : Two bedrooms are available each with nice exposed beams and a window opening onto the peaceful garden. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a built-in closet and a dressing table. The second bedroom is also furnished with a double bed. There are two bookshelves, a built-in closet and a piano (electric). These bedrooms share a bathroom with a washbasin, shower, French bidet and toilet. Outside : From the garden, you have access to a second bathroom with shower and toilet (pictures could not be taken during Visit) is available. The magnificent garden is very nicely maintained by the owner who loves nature. All the flowers will make your stay even more enjoyable. Some garden furniture is available, you will enjoy the view onto the vineyards (and as far as Mount Sainte Victoire near Aix en Provence). The property is located only 1 kilometers from the village of Lauris. In the village are a few cafés and restaurants, but you'll find more in Lourmarin. The closest towns are Aix en Provence (40 kilometers distant) and Avignon (50 kilometers). The location is also perfect for local festivals: Salon with its famous Jazz Festival (Château de L'Amperi) is about 40 minutes drive, Avignon and the Theater Festival, Aix en Provence and the Classical Music Festival are about 45 minutes drive, and last but not least: La Roque d'Anthéron and its Piano Festival is only 15-20 minutes drive away. The famous Sylvacane abbey is also nearby and definitely worth a look! The closest expressway is the A51, exit Pertuis, 20 minutes drive away. The closest train station is at is Aix en Provence - Les Milles, which is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 3 hours! The closest airport is Marseille - Marignane that has daily flights to Paris or to many other major towns of the world. Or most international connections from France are made through the international airport of Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
