This property is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac street of the village of Maussane, between Saint Remy and Arles. The villa offers a living room with dining area, a large kitchen, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a swimming pool. It has a trees and lawn planted garden and a large paved terrace. There is Air Conditioning in the living room and one of the first floor bedrooms. There are several ways of walking into the house. You can either enter through a west-exposed gate leading to the garden or enter through a north exposed gate leading to the main entrance door. The layout is as follows : Ground Floor : The living room has a lounge with two sofas and armchairs a coffee table and an ancient fireplace. There is a piano, a TV with DVD and a stereo system. In the dining area (next to the open kitchen) the dining table can seats 8 people. The fully equipped modern kitchen has gas burners, electric oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a dishwasher, and an American style refrigerator / freezer with ice dispenser. There is a TV. The kitchen is suitable for ambitious cooks. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer. At the back of the living room a corridor leads to a first master bedroom. The large master bedroom has a queen size bed, a chest of drawers, a desk as well as a French door that looks onto the terrace and the garden. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub a separate stall shower, a washbasin with a mirror and separate water closet with French bidet. Near this bedroom is a small convenient kitchenette ideal for guests. There is an extra separated toilet with washbasin. An elegant staircase leads to the upper floor where 3 more bedrooms are available. First French floor : A second bedroom has a double bed, a chest of drawers, a small desk and a bookshelf. There is an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, a stall shower and a toilet. The third bedroom has twin beds and an antique Provencal Armoire. The en-suite bathroom has a sink with mirror, and a stall shower. The fourth and last bedroom has a double bed and a check of drawers and a large dressing. The en-suite bathroom has a double washbasin, a tub, stall shower and separated toilet with French bidet. South exposed bay windows lead to a large south exposed terrace from the kitchen and from the living room. This terrace is partly shaded. The swimming pool is situated in a very private environment. There are ample places to relax all around the swimming pool, whether you're looking for sun or shade. The garden is ornamented by a nice fountain. There are parking spaces by the swimming pool as well as at the back of the villa Bed & bathlinens will be provided. The town of Maussane-les-Alpilles is a regional market town of some 5,000 people. Every week, its colourful street market draws people from surrounding villages looking for the local olive oil (that it's well known for) and for other fresh products. The town has cafés, restaurants, pharmacy, hairdresser, and all the shops and services you would expect from a regional hub. Ten minutes to the north is the famous village of Les Baux de Provence, which is also a wonderful site. The view from the old castle is amazing and the "Cathédrale d'Images" usually offers interesting exhibitions. Arles and "La Camargue"are only 30-40 minutes away by car. The closest expressway is the A54 at Saint-Martin de Crau. The closest airport is the Marseille-Provence International Airport (approximately 40 minutes drive away from the house). The TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Milles station) is about 30 minutes away as well , depending on the traffic.
