By car from the property, you can reach Saint-Rémy de Provence in 10 minutes (10 km away) Saint-Rémy is famous for its famous ruins of Glanum (an old archeological site from the first century BC) and for the hospital where Vincent Van Gogh stayed (Cloître Saint-Paul). Arles and "La Camargue" are only 30 minutes away by car and Avignon and its famous theater festival (in July) is 30 minutes away as well. Sports lovers can cross the Alpilles riding bravely their bicycles (but you got to have very good health condition because this ride is extremely difficult !). Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture.
The closest motorway is the A7, exit Cavaillon, 30 minutes drive away. This highway goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France. The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes ! The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
