Beautiful Luxery Onebedroom apartment in Cannes

This charming apartment is located on the ground floor of a private Residence with security access and garden, 1.5 km from the Croisette bay. It can accommodate 2 people. This luxury residence used to be a Palace (built in 1876) and was converted into in the 1950's. You enter the apartment through the living room. It is furnished a double sofa, an armchair and a coffee table. There is a dining table seating six. There are Two French windows opening onto the courtyard and the garden. The open and separate kitchen is equipped with four electric induction plates, an electric oven, a fridge/freezer and a coffee maker. It has most necessary cooking utensils. The bedroom is furnished with a double size bed. At the rear of the bed you will find a convenient wardrobe. There is a window opening onto the garden. The bathroom it equipped with a washbasin, a tub and a toilet. There is a washing machine. Outside/Garden : You will enjoy the large and peaceful 1250 sqm garden, planted with lawn and various ornamental plants. The garden offers great view onto the sea. Neighbourhood : The Residence (former hotel) has a large waiting room and reading room open to all tenants. Parking space is available in the property. There is a security access with automated gate. The beach and La Croisette are at reasonable walking distance (15mn walk - 8 mn drive). Two bus lines run by the residence (to the Port and Cannes Train Station). After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented: among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Hermès. Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera. Access : The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed train (the TGV "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
