Four bedroom villa in Cannes

The house is located in a private domain on the hills above Cannes (Croix Des Gardes). You enter the residence composed of flat buildings and villas via a large automated security gate. It can accommodate 8 people. The layout is as follows: The house is composed of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a terrace and a garden. Ground floor: The living room is furnished with 3 sofas, a coffee table. It is equipped with a satellite TV and a stereo radio/CD player. A sliding bay window opens onto the terrace. In the dining area, you will find a rectangular table seating 6 or 8 with the bench seat provided. The separate kitchen is equipped with most necessary utensils. It has a sink, a refrigerator/freezer, an oven, a microwave, 4 vitro-ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. It has a breakfast table and four chairs. There is also a washing machine. The first room is furnished with a queen size bed, 2 bedside tables, a chair and a built-in closet. In the first bathroom, you will find a tub with showerhead, a washbasin and adjacent and separate toilet. The whole bedroom and bathroom suite can be closed off from the living areas by a door, and the bedroom has a sliding window on to its own terrace. Stairs give to the first floor. First floor: The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds beds that can be joined together to make a queensize bed, a chest of drawers, a chair and a built-in closet. The second bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washbasin. In the third bedroom are 2 twin beds (that can be joined to make a double queen-sized bed), bedside tables, a chair and a built-in closet. The fourth bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds, a bedside table with drawers, a chair and a built-in closet. In the third bathroom, you will find a tub with a showerhead and a washbasin. All bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails. There is a separate toilet with a washbasin opening off the hall. There is a locking garage with direct lockable access to the house. The house is equipped with a videophone entry system linked to the security gate. Outside: You will appreciate the garden planted with lawn an8d the covered terrace with a table seating 4. There is a large shared swimming pool within the domain. (100 yards away). Neighborhood: The villa is in Cannes, next to the Croix des Gardes National Park, Mandelieu, Grasse, Mougins and the Alpes Maritimes (snow covered, with skiing in winter). For the everyday shopping, all the conveniences are five minutes'walk away. The centre of Cannes is five minutes drive from the villa. The long beach known as La Plage du Midi is likewise five minutes' drive from the villa through the wooded slopes of La Croix des Gardes down to the sea. A bus stop (5 minutes' walk from the villa) gives buses every 20 minutes in to Cannes centre (and back). After W.W. II, Cannes quickly became the haunt of crowned heads and billionaires, then the city of Stars, Festivals and International Conventions. Mostly famous for its International Film Festival (in May) the town regularly hosts well-known stars in its many luxury Hotels. On La Croisette, the most famous fashion brands are represented: among others Louis Vuitton, Chanel or Hermès. Of course, restaurants and boutiques are all around. The white-sand beach across La Croisette is usually crowded but remains one of the most famous throughout the French Riviera. Access: There is a quick access from and to A8 Motorway. The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is 30 minutes to the east. Here, the Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy is only 1 hour away. Aix en Provence is 90 minutes distant.
