This vacation rental is located on the third walk-up French floor of a typical Aix en Provence building. It can accommodate up to 3 people. You access the apartment through the living room overlooking the historic town. It is furnished with a double sofa, a coffee table and a decorative fireplace. It is equipped with a TV (French Channels) and a DVD player. Next is the spacious dining area with a rectangular dining table seating 6, a chest of drawers and cupboard. The open and separate kitchen is equipped with most necessary utensils and has a sink, a microwave (combo oven), 3 gas burners and 1electric hotplates, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee maker. The living room is separated from the kitchen by a bar with high chairs. In the first bedroom, you will find a double size bed with a bedside table. The second bedroom has a single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin. Toilet is separated. It also has a washing machine. A DSL Internet access is available. Neighborhood : You will appreciate the central location of this apartment : next to the Palais de Justice (short walking distance from the famous "Hôtel de Ville" & "Cours Mirabeau') and enjoy the peaceful life of the lovely city of Aix en Provence. All kinds of shops and restaurant are in the immediate vicinity. Aix en Provence in Bouches du Rhône district, has a wealthy historical and artistic heritage. The historic center hosts many private mansions and monuments. The surrounding country offers a beautiful and well-preserved countryside. It is famous for its landscapes (Cezanne). Aix en Provence is also famous for its summer festival (classical) and it is ideally located to discover the south east of France (including the southern Alps). The town is less than hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea and the ' Parc Régional du Luberon'. Access : 40 km from Marseilles, 65 km from Avignon. You can get to Aix en Provence by road (motor way) or by train (TGV Train station in Aix) . You can also fly through Marseille Provence Airport (25mn drive).
