Authentic Mas in the countryside of Mouriès in the Alpilles - Swimming pool

This 4 bedroom / five bathroom house has a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and has been recently restored. The house can accommodate up to12 people. A guest-house is also available (2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room). Main House -------------- Ground floor : The ground floor has charming vaulted ceilings The front door gives access to a large entrance with the living room and the kitchen on your right. The living area is furnished with a long dinning table with 8 chairs, 2 armchairs, a dresser and a decorative table. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a dishwasher, an American refrigerator/freezer, a cook equipped with a piano (semi professional stove), a microwave oven, and a coffee maker. The kitchen has an access to a little courtyard with many olive trees, 2 tables, 10 chairs, and a bench. On the left it leads to a living room with a table, 3 chairs, a sofa and an armchair. It has a separate bathroom with a WC and a washbasin. This living room leads to the TV area furnished with a sofa, a TV, a DVD player, a cupboard, 2 children tables, 2 children armchairs, and a cushion. There also is a little summer salon with a sofa, 4 armchairs, a coffee table and a fireplace. On the right of the kitchen is another salon furnished with a sofa, a cushion, 3 armchairs, a coffee table, a fireplace, a chest of drawers, a long table and a stereo. It leads to a cellar where there is a microwave oven, a washing machine. From the kitchen a staircase with a security barrier leads to the first floor. First French floor : ---------------------- The layout is as follows : On the right is a beautiful master bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed, a wardrobe, a long decorative table and 2 chairs. It has an en suite spacious bathroom with a bath, 2 wash-basin with mirrors, a large stall shower, a heating towel rack and a WC. There is a long hall leading to the 3 other bedrooms which has several cupboards. The first « green » bedroom is furnished with a trundle bed, a bedside table, a rack, a chair and a closet. It has access to a balcony with a wonderful view of the property. The « pink » bedroom has a trundle bed, a chair, a bedside table, a rack and a closet. It has a balcony with a beautiful view of the garden and the swimming pool. There is a bright bathroom with a bath, 2 sinks with mirrors and a separate WC. At the end of the corridor is the « red » spacious bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a chair, a wardrobe, a day-bed, a little table and 2 armchairs. The bedroom has a beautiful view of all the property. Next to this bedroom there is a bathroom with a stall shower, a washbasin with mirror and a WC. The Mas has a beautiful terrace with a big jujube tree and a garden table with 6 chairs. A little further is the swimming pool with a closed gate and an alarm. There are beach chairs as well. This house is surrounded with many Provençal trees and the canal of the « Vallée des Baux » is crossing the property which gives an impression of blossoming fresh nature. The garden is planted with box trees and the terrace is surrounded with pines, thyme, rosemary and has a fence. Guest House : --------------- It is separated from the main house and completely independent. The front door of the guest house gives access to a small entrance. On the right is the living room furnished with a table, 6 chairs, a sofa and a fireplace. It leads to a separate kitchen with oven, microwave oven, vent hood, refrigerator/freezer, cupboards, coffee maker, sink. It also leads to a separate WC on the left and there is a bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin with mirror. On the left of the entrance is the first bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed, a chair, an armchair and a wardrobe. A staircase leads to the 2 other bedrooms. The one on the left has 2 single beds, 2 bedside tables, an armchair, a chest of drawers, and a washbasin. It is very bright and has a view on the garden. The second bedroom, on the right, is furnished with a single bed and a trundle bed, a bedside table, a chair and a closet. It has a washbasin with a mirror. It has a beautiful view of the verdant garden of the property. Neighborhood : The town of Mouriès is a regional market town of some 3,000 people. Every week, its colourful street market draws people from surrounding villages looking for the local olive oil (that it's well known for) and for other fresh products. It has bullrings that can receive up to 3,000 people. The town has cafés, restaurants, pharmacy, hairdresser, and all the shops and services you would expect from a regional hub. Ten minutes to the north is the famous village of Les Baux de Provence, which is also a wonderful site. The view from the old castle is amazing and the "Cathédrale d'Images" usually offers interesting exhibitions. Arles and "La Camargue"are only 30-40 minutes away by car. Access : The closest expressway is the A54 at Saint-Martin de Crau. The closest airport is the Marseille-Provence International Airport (approximately 40 minutes drive away from the house). The TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Milles station) is about 30 minutes away as well, depending on the traffic.
