Exceptional two bedroom apartment with personality in Ménerbes - Provence Luberon
|
This authentic apartment is located in a majestic maison de village that is a former convent and dates from the XVII th century. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The layout is as follows :
You enter the apartment through a spacious entrance where there are many decorative items.
To the left is the kitchen, to the right is the bedroom and the bathroom and the living room is straight ahead.
The living room is fine furnished with a sofa, a table, 6 typical chairs, a large mirror and a fireplace. There is a stereo, two statues and a chandelier. The two windows offer a wonderful view of the Mont Ventoux. The decoration of the house is very spectacular and the furniture are antique.
The living room leads to a salon that has a bedroom area furnished with a sofa, 2 very comfortable sofa-beds, a coffee table, two antique chairs and a chandelier and several small tables. The room is tastefully decorated.
Its two windows bring light and open onto the marvelous view of the valley.
Next to this salon is the large separate kitchen. It is equipped with a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a toaster.
There is a long dining table seating 6, a closet and a fireplace as well.
The bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be put together to make a king-size bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a cupboard, and a table. Many decoration items give a charm to that cozy and bright bedroom.
It gives access to a separate spacious neo-classic bathroom. There is a wonderful tub, a shower, a washbasin, a closet, mirrors and a toilet.
Neighborhood :
Ménerbes is a nice typical village located on the top of a hill in the Luberon area.
Many old mansion-houses give a specific and charming look to the Old Ménerbes.
The area is famous for its landscapes and villages overlooking the valley, in the 'Parc Régional du Luberon'.
Do not miss the Saturday morning market in Apt or the Tuesday market in Lacoste and the surrounding villages such as Roussillon, Bonnieux, Ansouis, Lourmarin and many others !
Access :
70 km from Marseilles, 20 km from Apt, 45 km from Aix en Provence, 50 km from Avignon and 35 km from Cavaillon.
You can get to Ménerbes by road (or train + car TGV to Avignon or Aix).You can also fly to Avignon or Marseilles and drive from there.
