This duplex apartment is located on the 2nd walk up French floor of small building in Marseilles 7th arrondissement.
The layout is as follows :
Lower Level :

You enter the apartment through a small hallway
The living room is furnished with a large sofa (convertible), a comfortable armchairs, a small round table with chairs and a cupboard.
There is a TV and a DSL internet access.
There a two windows opening onto the quiet street.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with 4 gas hotplates, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker and toaster.
There is washing machine.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a desk.
There is an en-suite bathroom with a large tub, a wash basin and a toilet.
Wooden stairs give access to the mezzanine space.
Upper Floor :

On the mezzanine space is a sleeping area with a single bed, an armchair and a large bookshelves. There is a skylight.
There is a shower room with washbasin and toilet.
From this space you have access to a lovely sunny terrace (tropezienne) with garden furniture offering nice views onto Marseilles and the sea.
Neighborhood :
The apartment is few minutes from the coast but also in Endoume a very authentic quarter where you will find all shop. The street where the apartment is located is very peaceful.
You will find two beached within less than 10 minutes walk (one sandy, one with stone). The famous Vallon des Auffes is nearby.
There is a bus stop 5 min walk away as well as a rental bicycle station.
Marseilles is the third city in France (for the number of inhabitants) after Paris and Lyon.
It is famous for its large harbour but also the "Vieux Port" and la Canebière. Marseilles was founded 2600 years ago and after many years of crisis has become a very trendy place.
Close to Marseilles are "Les Calanques", Cassis (15km), Toulon (50km), and Aix en Provence (30km).

Motorways from and to Marseilles in all directions.
You can travel to Marseilles by TGV or fly through Marseilles Provence Airport (30km away).
