Spacious 4 bedroom 2 baths Apartment in the lively center of Aix en Provence

This four bedroom / two bathroom duplex apartment of approximately 120 sqm is located on the 2nd French floor of a walk-up prewar mansion dating from the 18th Century, with a private garden. This family has owned the house for 6 generations. It is just a stone's throw from the heart of Aix (50 meters!). All the shops, restaurants, groceries, cafés, schools and colleges are nearby. Lower level : ========= You enter the apartment through a large living area. The living room of approximately 45 sqm is furnished with 2 sofas (one is convertible), a lounge table, a round dining table seating, a chest of drawers and bookshelf. There is a TV, a stereo and two windows that look onto the garden and the Cathedral Saint-Sauveur. The open kitchen is equipped with 4 gas burners, a stove, a refrigerator / freezer, and a dishwasher. The first bedroom (about 20 sqm) is south exposed and also has a view over the cathedral. It is furnished with a double bed. The second bedroom (about 18 sqm as well) is furnished with a double bed as well. It has a window. The bathroom has a stall shower, a washbasin with mirror and water closet. Upper level : ========= The wooden staircase gives access to the second level The third bedroom (about 14 sqm) attic room has a skylight window. The fourth bedroom also attic is the smallest one (about 12 sqm). It is furnished with a sigle bed and has a skylight window. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with a washbasin and a tub. (there is a skylight). There is also a separate toilet. If you have a car, there is a paying parking lot located one block from the property. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the cosmopolitan air of Aix en Provence and experience what is like to live independently as a true native. Everything is within reach. We will not introduce you Aix en Provence that is already famous for its art and history. Aix en Provence has a wealthy historical and artistic heritage. The historic center hosts many private mansions and monuments. The surrounding country offers a beautiful and well-preserved countryside. Aix also has the most important courthouse in the region. Many festivals take place in the city throughout the year. It is located near the Marseille-Provence International Airport and the TGV Mediterranean train station (Aix-Les-Milles station). It is only 20 minutes from the city of Marseille, 40 minutes from Toulon and the Cote d'Azur, and 60 minutes from Avignon.
