This 2 bedroom apartment in a large property is located in the countryside of Saint-Rémy de Provence (in direction of Tarascon & Beaucaire.).
This house with various apartments is available throughout the year. It is only 4km away from Saint Remy de Provence.
Each apartment offers an entire privacy.(no direct views).

The apartment can accommodate 4 people maximum.

Ground Floor :

On this floor you will find a large living room, open kitchen and a toilet.
The living room, which is furnished with two sofas, armchairs and a coffee table. There is a nice working fireplace.
There is a satellite TV. And Wifi DSL Internet Access.

There is a bay window opening onto a private sunny terrace with garden furniture and partly shaded with a pergola.(an electric grill is available).
From there you have nice view onto the countryside and les Alpilles.

The open-kitchen has all appliances. It is equipped with a stove, 4 vitro-ceramic burners, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, a refrigerator / freezer and a dishwasher. There is a dining table.

There is toilet with a washbasin.

Second Floor :

An elegant wooden staircase leads to the second floor where you will find 2 bedrooms both bedrooms have Air-Conditioning.

The first bedroom is south exposed and furnished with a Queen size bed, a built-in closet and a desk. There is south exposed window with nice view onto the garden and les Alpilles.

The second bedroom is east exposed and is furnished with two single beds with bed side table and a built-in closet.(Window with view onto the swimming pool).

A baby bed is available.

The large shared bathroom is equipped with a washbasin with mirror, a tub, a separate stall shower and toilet.

There is a washing machine and separate dryer.

Outside :

You will enjoy the large garden (2 hectares) planted with trees and plants, with nice views onto the countryside (owners cherries and apricot organic orchards) and "Les Alpilles".

Away from the house, the large (10Mx12M) shared swimming pool with pool house and deck chairs is enclosed.
It is protected from the wind by a thick and very elegant plantation of giant bamboos.

The property is situated 3 minutes drive away from Saint-Rémy de Provence and 30 minutes drive from Avignon.
You can rent bicycles in Saint-Rémy or discover the Alpilles horseback riding. An equestrian center in Saint-Rémy organizes tours during summertime. The local market of Saint-Rémy is on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the main street going all around the village.
The famous ruins of Glanum are nearby : an archeological site from the first century before Christ. It's definitely worth a look. For paintings lovers, the hospital where Vincent Van Gogh stayed (Cloître Saint-Paul) is also a good excursion for the day. You may even
recognize one of the landscapes he drew while he was there.

Access :

The closest motorway is the A7, exit Cavaillon, 20 minutes drive away. This highway goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.
The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes !
The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
